Charming Studio in old town UZ14

Positive: Location is great, apartment is spotless

Positive: Nice, simple, but modern, clean and comfortable studio apartment in niederdorf old town. Negative: The building is under construction and extremely noisy. I needed to sleep yesterday but could not because of the noise. The owner says the construction is being done by the building management, but it was obviously planned and they did not warn me or advise me that my expensive holiday apartment booked months ago would be extremely noisy during my entire stay.

Positive: Amazing location right in the old town and very clean. Negative: Just be aware that the washing machine and dryer are in the basement so you can't really put a load on and just go out. The washing machine only takes about 45 minutes for a load so you can plan around that and it's nice to have a dryer with a timer setting.

Positive: Zentrale Lage im Herzen der Altstadt. Auch City und See fussläufig leicht erreichbar. Einfach, aber neu und modern eingerichtet. Negative: Am Wochenende bis 1 Uhr nachts laute Jugendliche im Park gegenüber. In der Woche derzeit ab 7 Uhr morgens Baulärm auf der Straße. Kein Shampoo oder Duschgel.

Don’t go Positive: The flat was in the old town which is nice but not accessibile to taxis and walking with your trolley bags on the little square stones is not very easy. Negative: The flat was not thoroughly clean and most probably infested by bed bugs - there was dust and bugs behind the bed and bugs in the ceiling lamp. The cleaning personnel did everything possible to clean the flat after I was advised to check in, but due to a bank holiday the ceiling lamp could be cleaned by a technician the next day and since I didn’t want to sleep in such an I hygiene environment i decided to search for another accommodation and ask for a refund. The host was very rude and tried to deceive booking and me by several lies and not behave in a responsible manner. I trust booking is fair and will refund my money - otherwise i lost 820€. In the photos it looks a lot better than what it is - for your own sakè don’t choose it.
